Fractured
<< >>
a tiny bird
circles an empty sky
after the storm
<< >>
Today I am holding, in my thoughts and prayers, all those neighbors, friends and strangers who are displaced and still struggling to recover from the storms.
so beautiful...praying with you.
ReplyDeleteBeautiful pics Barbara! Yes, we feel for them! Nicely!

So much has been said about the devastation in so few words.
ReplyDeleteMy prayers are with all of them !!!
ReplyDeleteYour haiku is made so moving in the sparsity....the circling and small against large...very good.
ReplyDeleteThank you for your prayerful spirit...such a good reminder, Barbara.
When the nest is gone the bird circles an empty sky.
ReplyDeleteIf they are lucky, it is a mated pair that circles.
They will build a new nest.
Love is real ... what we lost ... was just stuff.
How blessed you are to recognize this, Don.
Deleteah we def need to keep doing that...as they will be recovering for a while to come....nice haiku
